Don't compete with AI tools. Lean into what makes us human.
Aug 20, 2025I led a workshop recently, and one of the participants was having an ๐ฒ๐
๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐.
They came up to me and said, "I've always been considered a great writer. Now that these AI tools can crank things out in 30 seconds, even though much of it is slop, a lot of it's good enough. ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐'๐ ๐บ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฒ?"
This is what I told them:
๐ซ AI has never lived.
๐ซ It has never loved.
๐ซ It has never lost or felt pain or regret.
๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ.
